Making the transition from primary to post primary school is an exciting and sometimes worrying journey. Our first year induction programme is in place to make that transition as comfortable as possible while developing the students confidence to navigate new challenges.
We host an open night each October for parents and prospective first year students. The following May we invite the now enrolled students to a school experience morning. These are the first steps in our first year induction.
We also facilitate visits to the school for students who have not had the opportunity to attend our transition events. Parents and guardians are welcome to make an appointment and discuss how we can best meet the needs of prospective students. We will forward application forms on request.
