Parenthub - Useful Information for Parents

What should I do if my child is not happy with some aspect of school life?

As a parent, you will always be welcome call us or meet us in school. We listen carefully to concerns and work towards the resolution of issues. We always seek to preserve positive relationships with parents so that students are feel comfortable in the school environment. In our experience it is best to approach us in the early stages of a concern.

How do I find out about school procedures and routines?

Each summer, our school sends parents and guardians of enrolled students a Digital Information Pack to help students and families prepare for the new school year. The pack includes key back-to-school information such as important dates, the school calendar, school routines and procedures, provision of books and school materials, uniform advice, and other guidance so everyone can start the year feeling informed, confident, and prepared. We will also send emails and school texts as the need arises

How will I know how my child is doing in school?

We advise parents to access their child's Google Classroom and school Gmail accounts.

  • The school diary is another means of monitoring schoolwork and communicating with teachers.
  • We have assessments in October, February, and May, followed by a report to you about achievement and progress.
  • There is an annual parent teacher meeting for each year group.
  • Parents or teachers may request a meeting at any time if concerns arise.
