The official School Uniform is well supported by parents and regarded as a positive aspect of school life. It protects students from social pressures and provides parents with a practical affordable solution to dressing children for school. It also serves within the school to establish a sense of belonging and identity to the school community, and sets a tone that supports discipline and positive behaviour. The uniform was chosen to be as affordacble as possible and stands the test of time.

Your insistence that your son/daughter wear the uniform is of great support to us in maintaining the standards set by the school policy and in line with the expressed wishes of the majority parents. It is the standard expected of students who have agreed, as a condition of enrolment, to wear the prescribed uniform. The school jacket is a good investment for the colder seasons in school.

Sensible black shoes must be worn as part of the school uniform. Platform shoes/boots/ballet pumps/canvas shoes must not be worn, as they are not acceptable as protective footwear in school. Please note that while students are requested to wear black leather shoes we do not prescribe that these should be deck shoes, there are plenty of alternatives locally and online. Any sensible, comfortable black shoe is acceptable.

The uniform is as prescribed below; extra layers for warmth in colder weather must be worn under the school uniform and must not detract or add to the appearance of the uniform in any way.

  • Dark Green round neck jumper - with school crest.
  • Light grey shirt -Dark grey trousers
  • School jacket -Black shoes

Girls: *

* Exceptions apply, following consultation with parents, for students with documented sensory intolerance to uniform material.

Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with the student's name.

The wearing of the school uniform and black shoes promotes a sense of equality in the school – please ensure that you support us in this endeavour. Failure to comply with uniform policy will result in sanctions. Your cooperation will ensure we avoid this
